DropTrack Campaign Analytics

DropTrack provides real-time analytics for every campaign you send, whether email or submission.

Access Campaign Analytics

  1. Go to Promotion > Campaigns.
  2. Click a campaign name to open the campaign page.
  3. Use the tabs across the top of the campaign page to drill into different parts of the report.

The Campaign Page Layout

A hero strip at the top shows the campaign artwork, name, type and status badges, who and when it was sent to, and quick stats (views, plays, downloads, opens). The hero also exposes the primary actions for the campaign's current state - Send Reminder, Share Report, Save PDF, End Campaign, or the draft actions (Edit, Send Test, Start) for unsent campaigns.

Below the hero, content is grouped into tabs:

  • Overview (default) - message preview (artwork, subject, playlist link, message body), campaign settings, and the draft action row when the campaign is still a draft.
  • Engagement - email opens chart and table, playlist views, track plays, track downloads, and playlist downloads. For submission campaigns this tab also shows curator plays, downloads, and how far they listened.
  • Audience - listener locations map and unsubscribers (email campaigns).
  • Feedback - average rating, popular track, written feedback, and track comments. Submission chat appears here for submission campaigns.
  • Follow-ups - when Campaign Followups are enabled for your account, campaign nudge settings, the engagement funnel, contacts who may need a personal note, automated nudge history, and weekly recap status.
  • Preview - opens the campaign as a recipient would see it, in a new tab.

Share a Campaign Report

Use the Share Report action in the campaign hero (or in the actions menu) to get a shareable link to a public, read-only version of the campaign report. The link:

  • Stays live and always reflects the latest data - opens, plays, downloads, feedback, and comments update automatically as listeners engage.
  • Is read-only - viewers can't change settings, send the campaign, or see contact details. Contact email addresses are obscured for privacy.
  • Works for anyone with the link - no DropTrack login required - which makes it easy to share with managers, labels, collaborators, or anyone you want to show results to.

Click Share Report to open a dialog with the link, a Copy button, and an Open button to preview it in a new tab.

If you need a frozen snapshot of the report instead - for example, to email or archive - use Save as PDF from the same actions area.

How to Use the Data

  • Low opens can mean the subject line or recipient list needs work.
  • Strong plays but few downloads can mean contacts are interested but need clearer download permissions or a stronger call to action.
  • Highly engaged contacts can be added to focused follow-up lists or segments, or reviewed in the Follow-ups tab when it is available on your account.
  • The Follow-ups tab shows which automated nudges are enabled for the campaign: played/no reply, viewed/no play, opened/no click, unopened, and weekly recap.
  • Account Settings includes Campaign nudges send me email updates. Turn it off if you do not want DropTrack to email you campaign nudge updates.
  • Feedback and comments can help prioritize which tracks to promote next.
