DropTrack provides detailed, real-time analytics for every campaign you send. Here's how to read and use your data.

Accessing Campaign Analytics

  1. Go to Campaigns in the sidebar.
  2. Click on any campaign to open its analytics dashboard.

Key Metrics

  • Opens - The number (and percentage) of recipients who opened your email. Helps you gauge subject line effectiveness.
  • Listens - How many contacts played your tracks. You can see how far into each track they listened - a key indicator of genuine interest.
  • Skips - Tracks that were started but not listened to fully.
  • Downloads - How many contacts downloaded your music.
  • Feedback - Ratings, written reviews, favorite track picks, and support level from your contacts.
  • Follow-ups - Contacts who came back to re-open or re-listen, indicating strong interest.

Engagement Charts

Your campaign dashboard includes visual charts showing:

  • Listen engagement over time
  • Track-by-track performance (plays, skips, downloads per track)
  • Geographic map of where your listeners are located

Using Analytics to Improve

  • Low open rate? Try a more personal or attention-grabbing subject line.
  • Contacts skip early? Consider track order - lead with your strongest song.
  • High listens but no downloads? Make sure downloads are enabled and consider requiring feedback instead of blocking downloads.
  • Certain contacts always engage? Create a smart segment of your most active contacts for priority outreach.
