Campaign Follow-ups help you understand where each recipient is in your campaign funnel and, when enabled for your account, let DropTrack send targeted follow-up nudges based on recipient activity.

Where to Find Follow-ups

  1. Go to Promotion > Campaigns.
  2. Open a sent campaign.
  3. Select the Follow-ups tab.

If you do not see this tab, CRM follow-ups may not be enabled for your account yet.

What the Follow-ups Tab Shows

  • How your campaign is doing - a funnel showing recipients who were sent the campaign, opened the email, visited the campaign page, played the music, or replied.
  • People worth a personal email - highly engaged contacts that may deserve a one-to-one message from you.
  • All contacts - a searchable and filterable table showing each recipient's current stage and what happens next.
  • Manage all settings - switches for each automatic follow-up type on that campaign.
  • Nudges DropTrack has sent for you - a history table that appears after DropTrack has sent follow-ups on your behalf.

Automatic Follow-up Types

Each campaign can have these follow-up settings turned on or off independently:

  • Played, no reply yet - sends 2 days after a contact plays or downloads without replying.
  • Visited the page, didn't play - sends 1 day after a contact visits the campaign page without playing or downloading.
  • Opened the email, didn't click - sends 7 days after a contact opens the email without visiting the campaign page.
  • Never opened the email - sends 7 days after the campaign goes out to contacts who have not opened it.
  • Weekly recap to you - sends you a weekly summary of plays, replies, and standout contacts for up to 4 weeks.

Manage Follow-up Settings

Use the Send a nudge switches in the funnel or open Manage all settings to control follow-ups for the current campaign. These settings affect only that campaign.

DropTrack only queues follow-ups when the campaign and account are eligible, the contact is active and subscribed, and a matching follow-up has not already been sent. Follow-ups stop when stronger engagement happens, such as a reply, feedback, play, or download, depending on the follow-up type.

Email a Contact Yourself

The People worth a personal email section highlights high-intent contacts. Click Email them yourself to reveal the contact email and open a prefilled draft in your own email app. DropTrack does not send that personal note for you.

Contact CRM History

When CRM follow-ups are enabled, individual contact pages can show related campaign activity and follow-up history. Open a contact from the campaign or Contacts area to review their opens, views, plays, downloads, feedback, campaigns, and sent follow-ups.
