After a campaign is created and running, you have several actions available directly from the Grow dashboard: pause, resume, extend with more budget, cancel, and re-promote.
Pause a Campaign
You can pause any Live campaign at any time. When a campaign is paused:
- Ads stop running immediately on Meta
- Your remaining budget is reserved and not spent
- The campaign clock does not count down while paused
- You can resume whenever you’re ready
To pause, open the campaign from your Grow campaigns list and click Pause Campaign in the Campaign Health card.
When to pause:
- You’re about to upload new creatives and want to swap them in cleanly
- You’re making changes to your Spotify profile or release and want to pause ad traffic temporarily
- You notice performance dropping and want to reassess before spending more budget
Resume a Campaign
While a campaign is paused, the Resume button is available in the Campaign Health card. Resuming re-submits the campaign to Meta and ads restart — this usually takes less than an hour to go live again.
Extend a Campaign
When a campaign is running low on budget, or after it completes, you can add more funds to keep it going (or restart it with fresh budget).
Click Add Funds (shown on the wallet balance widget or on the campaign card) and choose how much to add. Preset options are $50, $100, or $500 — or enter a custom amount. The 15% service fee applies, and the Pro 10% bonus applies if you’re on a Pro plan.
Added funds are credited to the campaign immediately. If the campaign was live and the balance hit zero, it resumes automatically once budget is added.
Cancel a Campaign
You can cancel a Paused campaign if you decide not to run it. Cancellation is permanent — the campaign cannot be restarted after cancellation.
To cancel, pause the campaign first (if it’s live), then use the campaign action menu (⋮) and select Cancel Campaign. You’ll be asked to confirm before the cancellation is processed.
Note: Cancelled campaigns retain their performance data in your dashboard history. Unused budget from a cancelled campaign is not automatically refunded. Contact DropTrack support if you believe a refund is warranted.
Promote Again
When a campaign is Completed, a Promote Again button appears on the campaign card. Clicking it pre-fills the campaign wizard with the same track, so you can quickly launch a new campaign without starting from scratch. You can adjust the budget, duration, or targeting before paying.
Use Promote Again when:
- A campaign performed well and you want to keep the momentum going
- You want to try a different budget or strategy on the same track
- A Release Boost campaign completed and you want to shift to Steady Growth for ongoing promotion
Campaigns List
Your All Campaigns table shows every campaign you’ve created, including drafts, active campaigns, paused campaigns, and completed ones. From the actions menu (⋮) on each row you can:
- View — Open the full campaign detail page
- Pause / Resume — Toggle the campaign state
- Edit (drafts only) — Continue setting up a campaign that hasn’t been paid for yet
- Cancel (paused campaigns) — Permanently cancel the campaign
- Delete (drafts only) — Remove an unpaid draft
Draft Campaigns
If you start the campaign wizard and exit before completing payment, a draft campaign is saved automatically. Drafts are visible in your campaigns list and can be resumed at any time. Draft state is also saved in your browser locally for up to 1 hour, so you can refresh the page mid-wizard without losing your progress.
Drafts that were started under a different company account are automatically discarded when you switch accounts — they’re not shared across companies.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change the budget or duration after paying?
No. Core campaign settings are fixed after payment. You can add more budget (extend), but you cannot reduce the budget or change the duration.
What happens to my budget if the campaign is rejected by Meta?
If Meta rejects your creative, the campaign enters “Under Review” status. Budget is not spent during this time. Contact DropTrack support if this persists — we can help resolve the rejection and resubmit.
Can I run multiple campaigns at the same time?
Yes. You can have multiple campaigns running simultaneously, each for a different track or artist profile.
Will my campaign pause automatically if the wallet balance hits zero?
Yes. If a live campaign exhausts its budget, it transitions to Completed status and stops spending. Add funds via the Extend flow to keep it running.
Can I change my creatives after the campaign is live?
You can navigate to the creatives section of your campaign to manage creatives. If you need to make changes that require Meta re-review, pause the campaign first, update the creatives, then resume.
