DropTrack can generate a professional profile write-up for you using AI, based on your account details, genre, and any context you provide. For Artist accounts, this field is called Artist Bio. For other account types, such as record labels, it is called Company Profile. The saved text lives on your Profile page and feeds into your public pages, press releases, and campaign materials.

Where to Find It

  1. Go to Settings > Profile in your dashboard.
  2. For Artist accounts, scroll to the Artist Bio section. For record labels and other non-artist account types, scroll to the Company Profile section.

Generating a Bio or Company Profile with AI

  1. In the Artist Bio or Company Profile field, click Generate with AI.
  2. For Artist accounts, the AI uses your artist name, genre, and profile information to draft a bio tailored to your music and style. For record labels and other non-artist accounts, it drafts a company profile tailored to your brand, roster, and business context.
  3. Review the draft in the text field. Edit it freely — add your own context, achievements, influences, releases, artists, services, or upcoming projects.
  4. When you're happy with it, click Save Changes on the Profile page to save it.

If you already have text saved, the button changes to Rewrite with AI to generate a fresh version.

Tips for Better Results

  • Make sure your genre and artist or company name are filled in before generating — the AI uses these as starting points.
  • After generating, personalize the draft with real details: your influences, notable releases, collaborations, roster, services, location, or company focus.
  • Avoid leaving placeholder phrases like "[City]" or "[Year]" — fill those in before saving.
  • A great artist bio or company profile is typically 2–4 short paragraphs — concise enough for press kits, detailed enough to be interesting.

Where Your Bio or Company Profile Appears

Your saved text is used in several places:

  • Public pages — A teaser of your bio or company profile (and your social links) appears on your /for/, /track/, and /playlist/ promo pages in an About module. Artist accounts show Read full bio; other account types show Read full profile.
  • AI Press Release Generator — Your saved profile context is automatically available to the press release tool.
  • Campaign materials — Used as context when the AI message generator drafts personalized outreach emails.

Editing Your Bio or Company Profile

You can update your Artist Bio or Company Profile at any time from the Profile page. The AI-generated text is just a starting point — you own it and can change it whenever you want. Click Rewrite with AI to generate a completely fresh version, or simply edit the text field manually.
