DropTrack offers an integrated mastering service through our partner eMastered, so you can get professional-quality masters without leaving the platform.
What Is Mastering?
Mastering is the final step in audio production. It optimizes your mix for playback across all devices and platforms - making it louder, clearer, and more polished. A properly mastered track sounds professional and competitive alongside commercially released music.
How to Access Mastering
When you upload a track to DropTrack, you'll have the option to send it for mastering through eMastered. The service uses AI-powered algorithms trained on professional masters to deliver results quickly.
When to Master Your Tracks
- Before sending promos - Industry contacts expect a professional sound. Even a great song can be overlooked if it sounds unfinished.
- Before releasing - If you're distributing to Spotify, Apple Music, etc., mastering is essential.
- Demo submissions - While some labels will accept rough demos, a polished track always makes a stronger first impression.
Note: If your track is already professionally mastered, you don't need to master it again through this service.
