Contact Lists help you organize your contacts into groups for easy targeting when sending campaigns.

Creating a Contact List

  1. Go to Contacts in the sidebar.
  2. Click Lists (or navigate to the Lists view).
  3. Click Create List.
  4. Give your list a name (e.g., "UK DJs", "Blog Press", "Label A&Rs").

Adding Contacts to a List

  • When adding a contact: Select one or more lists from the dropdown during contact creation.
  • When importing: Choose a list to assign all imported contacts to.
  • From the contact page: Edit any contact and change their list assignments.

Using Lists in Campaigns

When you create a campaign, you can select entire lists as recipients. This makes it easy to send your new release to all your DJ contacts, all your label contacts, etc. You can also combine multiple lists in a single campaign.

Tips for Organizing Lists

  • Group by contact type: Labels, DJs, Bloggers, Radio, Curators
  • Group by geography: US Contacts, UK Contacts, EU Contacts
  • Group by genre: House DJs, Hip-Hop Blogs, etc.
  • Keep lists up to date - review and clean them periodically.
