DropTrack Import Contacts

If you already have a spreadsheet of contacts, you can paste the contact data or import a CSV file into DropTrack.

Prepare Your Data

Email is the only required field. DropTrack can also map fields such as first name, last name, full name, company, Twitter, phone, charts, website, SoundCloud URL, Mixcloud URL, and personal link.

Import Contacts

  1. Go to Contacts > Import Contacts.
  2. Paste tab-delimited or comma-separated contact data, or click Browse to upload a .csv file.
  3. Choose an existing contact list or create a new one in the import form.
  4. Click Work some magic!.
  5. Map each detected column to the correct DropTrack field.
  6. Click Choose Field as you map columns and finish the import.

Tips

  • Clean duplicates before importing.
  • Use contact lists to keep different audiences organized.
  • Include first names when possible so campaign messages can be more personal.
