DropTrack makes it easy to find and submit your music directly to record labels, DJs, blogs, radio stations, and playlist curators - all from within the platform.

Using the Browse Directory

  1. Click Browse in the sidebar.
  2. Search for industry contacts by:
    • Type - Record labels, DJs, blogs, radio stations, playlist curators
    • Genre - Filter by the genres they accept
    • Location - Find contacts in specific regions
  3. Browse profiles to learn more about each contact, including their website, preferred genres, and submission requirements.

Submitting Your Music

  1. Find a contact you want to submit to in the Browse directory.
  2. Click Submit.
  3. Select a track or paste your Spotify link (for Spotify playlist curators).
  4. Write a submission message - keep it professional and concise. Mention why your music is a good fit for them specifically.
  5. Optionally attach your AI-generated press release for extra context.
  6. Submit!

Tracking Submissions

View the status of your submissions from the Submissions area in your dashboard. You can see which submissions are pending, accepted, or declined.

Tips for Better Submissions

  • Research first - Check the contact's preferred genres and style before submitting. Don't send hip-hop to a techno label.
  • Personalize your message - Mention something specific about the label or DJ. Show you've done your homework.
  • Lead with your best - Submit your strongest, most polished track.
  • Attach a press release - Use the AI Press Release Generator to create one quickly.
