Protect your pre-release music from piracy and leaks by adding unique, inaudible watermarks to your audio files. If a track ever leaks, you can trace it back to the exact recipient.

How Watermarking Works

When you enable watermarking on a campaign, DropTrack embeds a unique, inaudible watermark into each recipient's copy of your tracks. The watermark doesn't affect sound quality but can be detected using DropTrack's tools.

Enabling Watermarks on a Campaign

  1. When creating a campaign, go to Step 3 (Configure options).
  2. Toggle Watermark Tracks on.
  3. That's it - each contact will receive a uniquely watermarked copy.

Checking a Watermark

If you suspect a leak, you can identify who shared the file:

  1. Go to Check Watermark in your dashboard (available on Pro Label plans).
  2. Upload the leaked audio file.
  3. If a valid watermark is detected, DropTrack will show you which contact received that specific copy.
